The term ¨friendship¨ is deeper than a word posted in a caption or comment section for Nikko Hinojos, Landyn Rains, and Jaxson Hiebert. After being friends for many years, the significance of a friendship has a large impact on students.
¨This [friendship] is a brotherhood to me,¨ sophomore Nikko Hinjos said.
If searching for the right person or the right group, it is important to get involved.
¨Football and hanging out with eachother [helped strengthen our friendship],¨ Hinojos said.
There are many factors to growing a long-lasting friendship. On top of the memories made and the fun time spent together, it comes down to being a true friend with lasting willingness.
¨No matter what the situation is, you have their back, and you’ll be there for them,¨ sophomore Landyn Rains said.
As friendships grow, students not only share experiences but also help each other become better versions of themselves. Through shared moments and life lessons, people canshape each other’s perspectives and values, leaving a lasting impact on who both people become.
¨We´re nice to each other but not afraid to say what needs to be said,¨ sophomore Jaxson Hiebert said.
These three friends hang out often, text in a group chat, play video games, and more. But overall, they found their true spot together, in football. After playing on the same team for many years, they were able to create cherishable memories to look back on
. ¨My most cherished memory of us so far would be beating Hutch last year in football on our home field,¨ Hiebert said.
It is good to have many people whom to consider close friends, but it is also great to have one or two to fall back on. Doing creative things together, having inside jokes, or simply playing cardgames is where personalities come together.
¨[My advice for finding the perfect friendship would be to] hang out with each other, find similar interests you have and just connect on that,¨ Rains said.
