JV Girl’s Soccer
The girls JV soccer team played their first game of the season on Tuesday, March 19. They played against the Buhler Crusaders at Fischer field.
“I like playing the sport a lot. You know when you kick the ball super hard and you hear the *boom*, that’s so satisfying, isn’t it?” sophomore Victoria Torres Dunahoo said.
It rained for the majority of the game that night. Although the weather was not ideal for playing soccer, the girls still managed to have a good time.
“it was cold but I got used to it, and I got more comfortable with it,” freshman Leticia Hernandez said.
The girls lost to Buhler with a score of 6-0, but they have some ideas on what they need to do in order to improve.
“[I’d like to] improve on getting goals in, maybe our fitness needs to be up a lot.” Torres Dunahoo said.
