Benefits of Veganism

With approximately 0.4% of America’s population identifying as vegan, according to a Harris Poll National survey, the number of vegans is scarily low. Despite low numbers, veganism has been proven to have several underlying health benefits. For example; vegan diets are known to help people lose weight, improve blood sugar levels and kidney functions, protect against certain cancers and lower the risk of heart disease, according to Healthline.
