2020 Election Recap

2020 has been full of many unpredictable moments which have greatly affected the lives of people all around the world. In November, another event occurred which would affect the lives of specifically Americans, the 2020 presidential election. The elections this year seemed more significant for many voters than in years past. Both sides were passionate about their presidential candidates and were supporting them in any way they could.

This was very evident in the voter turnout. According to The Washington Post it is estimated that over 65% of the eligible voter population cast ballots this year. In order to ensure that each and every vote was counted, the election dragged on for four days until a projected winner was announced on Nov. 7. Attached is a recap of various events which lead to Joe Biden being announced the presidential elect.
