Baseball Senior Night
On April 23, the Railer baseball team hosted a double header against Hutchinson at Centennial Park. With it being senior night, there were a total of 4 seniors and their parents who were recognized. Of those 4, was senior Zachary Kennell, who admits that baseball has impacted his life for the better.
“It’s definitely made me more disciplined and a hard worker just in life in general,” Kennell said.
Along with it being senior night, it also doubled as the last home game of the season.
“I’ve got a lot of great memories at the field so it’s kind of sad that I won’t make any more memories during a game [at home] until the summer,” Kennell said.
After the season ends, Kennell plans to continue playing through the summer league.
