Energy drinks are on the rise, and whether they are bad or good for you is debated. People go from energy to headaches, to heart attacks, to cardiac arrest. With all this into play, students continue to drink these energy drinks such as Alani Nu, BUBBL’R, Red Bull, and several others… even with the risks. drinks are labeled “healthier.”,But is it actually healthier, or is it a marketing tactic?
I believe energy drinks are bad for you, especially if you drink one every day. that doesn’t mean you’ll never see me drinking a BUBBL’R or an Alani Nu, but I know the risks, and I need to commit to stop drinking them. Hopefully, after you read this article on why energy drinks are bad for you, you’ll consider taking steps to quit, too.
From TikTok videos to articles across the web, I have seen many risk factors. One of the many risk factors that has continuously caught my attention is heart problems. That is a scary thing, and unbelievable how a drink can do that! Many of these drinks that teens and adults are drinking cause heart problems. This is more likely if you drink them very often, and it happens because of the high caffeine in these drinks and a combination of the ingredients in them. But do the drinks labeled “healthier” do that too?
Well, if you look into it, the healthier drinks are generally better for you than those with high caffeine, but that doesn’t mean you should drink them every day. Drinks like Bubbl’r or Celsius could be considered healthier f because of the lower sugar and calorie numbers – different ingredients that substitute for the bad ingredients in drinks like Red Bull. But these healthier drinks can still cause things like digestive issues.
Among all these drinks, there may be ones that are a healthier option, but considering the concerns, like heart problems and digestive issues, maybe you’ll consider quitting. So, when at the store next time, think about the concerns before buying that energy drink and the consequences of the drink if you do buy and consume it.
