Lisa Antonowich is the PE II instructor and teaches students two main subjects: CPR and swimming. The swimming unit lasts around two to three weeks and requires students to bring their own swimwear and are expected to participate in the different subjects they go over.

“I just like when we play games. That’s my favorite part,” sophomore Gabriella Mayes said. “[My favorite game is] volleyball. It’s just something that’s really competitive and I’m really competitive.”

Activities include different ways to swim or float, participating in relays or unique ones such as synchronized swimming. Afterward students can play games like underwater freeze tag, sharks and minnows and water polo.

PE II is a required class that is available to take from sophomore to senior year.
