As the semester ends, some of the senior class celebrate their success with friends and family at their graduation party.
Everybody has their way of celebrating graduation; several will have a traditional party, and some will not even have a party at all. People who do will commonly incorporate a personalized photo booth to remember the special day.
“[I’m looking forward to] seeing everybody and taking pictures with everybody,” senior Bailey Rhodes said.
This is not only a time for seniors to celebrate, but most underclassmen will join in on celebrating their friends achieving this great milestone. Sophomore Brynn Budde said she loved the one party she has been able to attend this far.
“It was really fun because the food was good and she is friends with my friends, so they were all there,” Budde said.
This is not only a time for graduates to spend time with the people they have grown up with, but also with people who may not live in the same area as them. For senior Mackenzie Rains, she is looking forward to seeing people she doesn’t see every day.
“[At my graduation party, I’m most looking forward to] seeing out-of-town friends and family,” Rains said.
Some seniors like to add unique things to their party to make it catered toward them and their personality. Senior Karla Lopez-Correa said she is looking forward to adding her personal touch.
“I am looking forward to the bouncy castle I rented for my grad party,” Lopez-Correa said.
In the end, graduation parties are a way for seniors to get recognized by their friends and family for the countless hours of school they have completed.
“I’m excited to have a good time with my friends and celebrate making it through high school because I’m done and it’s over,” Rhodes said.
