Taylor Swift has become the world’s favorite pop star, with ten studio albums and sold-out concerts every other night, Swift has not only made a huge impact on America but on the world.
Swift is still traveling the world on her Era’s Tour. Fans have gone ballistic over her concerts and many say it’s an indescribable moment they will never forget. The Era’s Tour has included stops all over North America and will soon include stops in other countries. Additionally, Swift recently announced that she is going on another tour in the fall of next year.
“I couldn’t really comprehend it because I have wanted to see her for so long,” senior Mckinley Mueller said. “It was insane, like out of this world insane.”
The process to get Era’s Tour tickets in the first place is strenuous. Only certain people end up lucky enough to score tickets. Back in November, Ticketmaster crashed because there were so many people trying to get tickets. Due to a lot of Swifties being unable to get tickets for an Era’s tour concert. Swift hopes that her tour next year will hopefully allow some of her other fans to enjoy the live music experience.
“I would definitely say it was worth the money,” junior Sadie Houser said. “But I’m like a really big fan so for some people maybe not, but for me and my family, definitely.”
There is more that comes with the Era’s Tour concerts that make it a unique experience. For example, Swift has started multiple traditions for fans at her concerts, such as trading friendship bracelets with other fans. Fans across the world will spend hours before the concert creating bracelets that include album names and their favorite songs.
“I really enjoyed trading bracelets,” freshman Mabel Wall said. “Because you could talk to people and you got to kind of connect.”
Swift has managed to increase the economy in the cities due to the large number of fans she attracts to her shows. She has also made an impact on her fans who got the chance to go to her concert.
“Even though they were expensive, you got like three hours’ worth of music,” Mueller said.
