Pandemic Thanksgiving How-To

Ann Pomeroy, Newtonian Editor-in-Chief

COVID-19 has thrown us a curve ball this year in celebrating the holiday season. In times when we usually gather together we are asked to remain distant in order to decrease the spread of the virus. The CDC even recommends celebrating virtually or only with the people you live with this year as it may be the safest choice. With all of these limitations, what are the options in making this year special?

There are a number of activities that you can safely take part in such as helping your family to prepare Thanksgiving dinner, starting up a new tradition by making Thanksgiving themed breakfast and desserts and using alternative ways to host celebrations such as virtually or outdoors. No matter what the form of celebration this year, take time to be thankful for those around you during these unprecedented times.
