After School Workouts

Everyday after school players from both the Baseball and Football team workout to prepare for their upcoming seasons. Workouts are held from 3:20 p.m. to around 4:30 p.m. every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Players are given a specific workout that they must complete with a group of two or three.

“I love afterschool weights because it helps me and my teammates prepare for the upcoming season,” junior Griffin Davis said. ” I am seeing big improvement with our team, the freshman and sophomores are buying into the process and are seeing how hard you have to work to improve yourself as an athlete.”

Not only do players workout, so do the coaches, they join in with a group of two or find an individual to workout with.

“Do I enjoy working out with George no, but he makes me work harder and improve myself everyday,” senior Gavin Cusick said.

The Baseball team will be working out until there first practice while the Football team will workout until next years season.
