On Sept. 4 the Junior Ag Academy class went on a field trip to Ark City to tour some of the Wichita Indian history sights. The students have been researching Indian tribes and some of their traditions in English class, and are going further into depth in their History class.

“It was really interesting touring the sights; it was crazy to think that I was walking through some of the battles and villages taking place there,” junior Cole Lujano said.

Additionally the students were going to go tour the Archeological dig site there in Ark City but due to some complications they were not able to do so; but are planning on attending in the spring.
