Student groups travel over summer, work to make a difference

Mission and church trip: took a swamp tour, painted and cleaned a school, fed homeless in French Quarter, attended faith-based gatherings.

German culture trip: Stayed with host families, toured Berlin on bike, visited the North Sea and the Berlin Wall, roomed in hostels.
“These experiences have definitely influenced my life. I have so many new friendships, and relationships because of this trip, with people who I never would have thought I would,” -junior Kailei Sidebottom

Spanish culture and service trip: Painted a school mural, planted trees, traveled to different parts of the country, went ziplining.
“Now I feel like I’ve become more confident in my Spanish and more outgoing and adventurous overall. I think this trip really brought us all closer, and we even became friends with our teacher, Senora Loeffler,” -junior Ryan Hirsh

Church service trip: Worked at food banks, painted a house, cared for adults with head injuries, and worked at Earth Links Garden.
