College Fair
The College Planning Conference was held on Oct. 17 in Willis Gym from 9-10:30 a.m. Colleges and universities from all over the state came to display information for college bound students. There were about 50 colleges that attended.
This opportunity was offered during school for sophomores, juniors and seniors. Students walked around to the different tables to learn more about each college and what they had to offer.
“It helped me a lot to know what schools offer to know what I want to do when I’m older,” junior Lindsey Voth Said.
Although many schools were represented, students were limited to only Kansas schools.
“I wasn’t really interested in going to any of the colleges there. Also, I wasn’t even aware that 75 percent of the colleges there even existed before looking at their tables,” junior Eli Blaufuss said.
