There is a camaraderie among the twins and triplets who attend Newton High School together.
Having someone from the beginning of birth to hang out with forms a strong relationship. Twins and triplets face everything together from ups to downs.
Knowing someone for all your life builds a bond that is unique to you and your sibling(s). Being a twin or triplet and having someone who expresses similar interests who is the same age is life-changing.
Sharing is a very prominent aspect of being a twin/triplet with sharing the same birthdays, toys, and potentially rooms. Sharing those things can frustrate some and be useful for others.
Twins and triplets share a lot of similarities in their lives, but they differ from each other in their personalities, physiques, and even strengths and weaknesses.
Ruth Triplets
“We are fraternal, we’re similar, but we aren’t exactly identical,” senior Zach Ruth said. “Of the triplets, Haley is the oldest – older than Nick by one minute who is older than me by two minutes –I am the youngest.”
“It was great having those two siblings that were of the same age that shared similar interests so that when you’re younger you spend most of your time at home playing, doing whatever and to have multiple other people that have similar interests and of similar age it’s just a lot of fun when your young and all get along.”
The triplets have different thoughts on sharing.
“Yes. I wouldn’t call it sharing [Haley Ruth] kinda just takes our clothes but I’ve accepted it.” Nick Ruth said.
“I love stealing things from Nick and Zach I don’t think they would call it sharing though.” Haley Ruth said.
Zach Ruth broke down his opinion on which triplet is funny, evil, and favored. “The funnier triplet is definitely Haley, she doesn’t really in the conventional sense tell a lot of jokes, but she always seems to say the right thing at the right time just to make something funny. The evil triplet is definitely Nick, he’s very different from the two of us … the smarter triplet, it’s technically Nick since he went through a lot of school early and everything early honors program … the favorite is, I hate to say it, but my parent’s favorite is me. I am the least time-consuming, I cause the least problems, I drain the least the money – I think it’s me.
Suderman Twins
Being older than Tylerr Suderman, Tatum Suderman expresses her age over Tyler Suderman.
“Fraternal. I am the older twin by three minutes!” Junior Tatum Suderman said. The Suderman twins said they don’t have to share as much now that they are older.
“The sharing thing is more when you are little but since we’re not identical we don’t share a whole lot.” Tyler Suderman said.
Sanchez Twins
“We are fraternal twins. I am older by a minute,” Senior Natalie Sanchez said.
“We go through everything together, even like siblings they have some years apart they’re at different points but as twins, we go through everything together,” Senior Anahi Sanchez said. The Sanchez twins have no problems sharing.
“We have no problems with it we always borrow each other’s clothes if we want to.” Anahi Sanchez said.
“We’re very similar but as well very different at the same time, I think the basis of our personality sets us apart whether we want to or not.” Natalie Sanchez said
“Our personalities are very complimentary of each other my weaknesses are her strengths and my strengths are her weaknesses.” Anahi Sanchez said.
Anahi Sanchez has a message for people dealing with twins – “Please stop trying to make twins compete with each other.”
