British-American kickboxing world champion Emory Andrew Tate has been blowing up on social media for being sexist and misogynistic. Tate has been in several podcasts, Youtube videos, and TikTok videos to talk about his opinions and life experiences. Whenever Tate is speaking on a platform he ends up being mindless to his actions because almost every word that comes out of his mouth is foolish and sexist. 

Tate had a strong male following with over 4 million followers on Instagram. He has gotten most of his attention from TikTok since he is in a podcast called “FULL SEND PODCAST” where Tate reveals how he gets money and manipulates people. People on TikTok post clips of Tate saying stuff about women as if they are men’s property. 

Tate gained some publicity on a website he owned called “Hustlers University.” The website’s subscribers must pay a monthly fee of $49. Tate claims that on the website he teaches members how to make money and become rich. On this website, Tate intentionally misleads customers by using fake services and payments that lure them into a scheme. Tates website encourages people to actively spread his content on TikTok and other social media sites, which is why he is blowing up over TikTok recently. 

In August, Hustlers University was finally taken down since he was using people to show himself off and get more views. Tate got up to 100,000 subscribers but started losing them more and more once everyone knew what Tate was actually doing. Many offensive and sexist comments were blowing up throughout June to August because of the members on his website sharing his views around social media. Most comments he has said are very old because he has only got recognition from his website in 2022.

On Oct. 18, 2017 Tate said some sickening things on his Twitter account called “cobatate.” Tate tweets, “If you put yourself in a position to be raped, you must bear some responsibility.”

Most boys that are fans of him call him the “Top G,” which means top gangster. It is awful that these boys look up to him when he says extremely disrespectful comments. Even if Tate is making comments for attention, it is just as problematic and offensive. Saying something like that can affect many women or men around the world who have been in a position like that. 

Another comment Tate made was his plan if a woman were to accuse him of cheating on her. He describes how he keeps a machete by his bed. This shows how immature he really is because even thinking about treating another person like this is seriously concerning. I believe that this man needs to be stopped.

“It’s bang out the machete, boom in her face, and grip her up by the neck,” Tate said. 

All of Tate’s social media accounts have been banned for the greater good. On Monday, Aug. 2, YouTube prohibited Tate’s channels for many violations including hate speech policy. Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and TikTok have all also taken down his accounts. In an interview with unilad, TikTok made a statement saying they will take down any video that includes misogyny and hateful behaviors, referring to Tate. 

Since many young men look up to Tate, they are going to be taught to treat women the way Tate treats them. Although Tate is banned, the things he has said have still affected so many people. Tate should not be allowed to return to any social media sites ever again because he is not a person people should look up to; he is a bully.
