On Aug.20 the football team hosted a scrimmage that included players grades 3rd through 12th. Students and parents were welcomed to watch and cheer on the players.

“I feel like being under the lights with a crowd of people will soften the nerves before our first game,” senior Clayton Smith said.

Students came in support of the team and cheered on the scrimmage.

“Since I’m a cheerleader, my favorite part about Railer Night Lights was getting to be a part of the crowd and getting to cheer on the players from a different perspective,” sophomore Violet Bartley said.

If your wanting to see more of the railer football team and other fall sports team, all teams will be announced at the annual Fall Festival at Fischer field on Aug 27. On Sept 3 the football team will have their first game of the season against Andover Central.
