On Thursday, Sept, 19 the freshman volleyball team had their first home game. The freshman went 2-1 overall defeating Goddard and Campus and losing to Maize.

“We practiced really hard this past week and played to the best of our abilities,” freshman Brylee Budde said.

Their first opponent in the tournament was the Goddard Lions, defeating them in two sets.

“We played really well together as a team,” Budde said. “We communicated very well and i think that is why we won against them.”

The freshman team will play at Valley Center on Sept. 26.
