Club meetings can mean more than just fun activities. Clubs such as Spanish, French and German help with learning new languages. Fitness club, powerlifting and others help with keeping in shape.

One club, DECA, is different from the rest. DECA is a business and marketing club connected with the Marketing Education Program. Members participate in community service projects, social activities, fund-raising and much more.

“I’m given the opportunity to learn how to create my own business plan and what to do in real life business scenarios,” junior Becca Meyer said. Some students take advantage of this club to get a head start on their future. “I’m also given the opportunity to learn from many other young entrepreneurs and DECA members their ideas on business owning and working in different fields.”
