Every black day, Paint and Draw I students work together or alone on paintings, drawings and whatever else they have in mind. After taking the Art Basics class, students are allowed to join the class. The students use all mediums of paint and drawing materials for this class. Students are taken through and taught how to draw more in depth subjects. “For a big portion of the class, we are working on muscle structure and proportion,” senior John Wells said, “I think we’re moving into painting stuff now.” These classes, Art Basics and Paint and Draw I, are required to take classes such as graphic design, mural production and ceramics, although Paint and Draw I is not always required.
