On Dec. 9, many clubs including Azteca and/or Spanish club met- inching closer towards our long winter break. The club is sponsored by spanish teachers Cheryl Loeffler and Chandler Ochoa and by art teacher Eden Quispe. The club met in Loeffler’s room where they began the club with hot chocolate and crackers. The members were given the option to participate in a ‘White Elephant’ gift exchange in Loeffler’s room or move over to Ochoa’s room to listen to Christmas music and make Christmas cards. For the gift exchange, some but not all club members were given a number that corresponded to a gift. Gifts such as a Selena Quintanilla shirt, candy, a ‘Twilight’ game and pottery were picked at random by the students.
