NHS already prides itself on a variety of sports available to the entirety of the student body, but each year, NHS holds tournaments of sports typically restricted by gender, to flip the script for a night at the Powderpuff women’s flag football tournament and Peachfuzz men’s volleyball tournament.. These tournaments have teams separated by grade, with the sophomores playing the juniors, and the seniors competing against the freshman. The second match for both teams will be losers v.s. losers, and winners against winners, to decide the final placement of each team. This year, the Powderpuff tournament would have nine on nine flag football at Fischer Stadium on November 12. After all the games finished, the seniors would come out on top, with juniors in second, freshmen in third, and sophomores in fourth.
