The dance team hosted their first dance competition on in ravenscroft gym on Feb. 15. The dancers participated in numerous variations of dances including solos, duets, trios, and team dances of all different genres.

“We have had many hours of practice and had a lot extra practices to prepare for the competition and I’m glad that we did that because in the end it all payed off,” sophomore Linda Shine.

There was not any overall winners for the solos, duets, trios the dancers got a medal and there overall score. But the railiners were one of  three teams for the all around winners of the competition.

“The best part was right before we went on because I feel like we were all connected as a team,” Shine said.
