The Diviners by Libba Bray
“This is an absolutely amazing book. It takes place in the 1920’s. It is about a 17 year old girl named Evie O’Neil and her friends who have a special powers I enjoyed this book from beginning to end. It follows m ysterious murders happening in New York City, where Evie’s powers keep coming back to her to show her clues. However, they also make things worse for her. If you liked Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, you will love The Diviners by Libba Brey.” – freshman Brook Petersen
Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard
“I rarely put the Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard down until I had finished it cover to cover and started the second book. The book is historical and fantasy romance at its finest. By combining emotion and descriptive writing the author attaches you to the characters and tugs at your emotions like no other. The plot is beautifully imagined and has both betrayals and heartbreaks to make a good book.” – freshman Kaeden Thurber
