The Wrestling team hosted their first home dual against Salina Central on Dec. 12 in Ravenscroft gym winning 46-30.

I have progressed a lot since last year, because I wasn’t really that great, I went varsity and won only once, but this year I’ve been varsity all year and I’ve done pretty good,” junior Avery Dutcher said

The wrestling team has six tournaments this year one being the newton held Tournament of Champions and the other being Kansas City Stampede.

“This year we have a lot of tough tournaments so I think i’ll be getting a lot better at wrestling because i’ll be learning from my mistakes,” Dutcher said.

The next time the Wrestling team will be home is when they host TOC it will be held Jan. 17-18 in Ravenscroft gym.
