The Freshman/Sophomore football team faced off against Hutch on Oct. 7.

“It [Hutch Game] did not turn out the way we wanted it to, our defense came out aggressive but our offense did not,” sophomore Clayton Smith said.

At halftime the Railers were trailing Hutch 0-20.

“Our Offense could of been better and our defense was on the field for most of the game so we could change that so they are not out there as much,” Smith said.

In the second the Railers had some crucial defense stops including an interception to help keep the score to 0-34

The Freshman/Sophomore team plays Salina Central next, on Oct. 14 at 5:30 p.m.
