Spring Pep Assembly – March 22
After the first few spring sports were introduced, the ‘Mailiners’ performed with the Railiners. This has been a tradition for many years.
“I felt like the performance went really well, this year every guy who participated generally wanted to be there and it made the atmosphere really enjoyable and it was a good time for everyone,” senior Rebekah Nelson said.
To take place of the cheerleader performance, the team captains of each spring sport along with coaches, teachers, and fellow students, had the opportunity to play a game of intense musical chairs put together by the cheerleaders.
“I feel like the teachers took it very seriously, they were out for blood, but props to them. When me and Montano went up against each other I tried a little but I let her have it because the teachers really wanted it more than the rest of us did,” Nelson said.
