The Railiner dance team brings home another superior rating at Rally in the Valley, a dance and cheer competition, at Valley Center High School on Feb. 13.

Judges evaluate performances based on formations/transitions, spirit, showmanship and overall effect. The ratings for each category in the competition include outstanding (third), excellent (second) and superior (first). This is their third year participating in the competition and have received superior ratings each year under the direction of dance coach Amy Pollard.

“My first Rally in the Valley was a great experience because I got to spend time with the team that I love, and share lots of laughs,” freshman Molly Stahl said.

The team performed a jazz dance titled “Respect” choreographed by dance coach Amy Pollard.
